ROSA - PARADISE - SINGLE REVIEW

'Paradise' marks the beginning of a new era for Preston band Rosa, the last month or so has seen them return with a new line up, and it'll be very exciting to see what this change brings for the band over the coming months. They're a band that've been on my radar for quite a while now, since catching the end of their performance at Glastonferret last year, and 'Paradise' is a very exciting insight into what the future holds for this Preston Pop foursome.

'Paradise' takes on a much more sultry sound than most of Rosa's other songs, and is very focused on lead singer Matt's vocals in the beginning, allowing for the music to build around them as the song progresses, and it really allows for focus on the actual lyrics of the song rather than the music around them, something that seems to be a dying art within music nowadays.

The repetition of 'I'm Changing' throughout stood out the most to me as something we can all relate to at the moment, though the notion of change within 'Paradise' isn't necessarily a bad one, Rosa have come out with this song at the perfect time, at a time when music, to so many, has become a way to cope with all of the pain in the world currently. The song is incredibly catchy and I've found myself humming it more than once since it's release on Wednesday.

'Paradise' is definitely the beginning of something new and exciting for Rosa, trust me, keep them on your radar.
